摘要
ESP教学是大学英语教学改革的必然趋势,其重点是培养既具备英语语言能力又具有专业英语能力的学生。文章回顾了国内外ESP教学的已有研究成果,从课程设置、师资配备和教学资源等方面分析了ESP教学在国内高校发展所遇到的问题和挑战,并尝试提出职业能力培养视角下大学英语ESP教学改革应对策略,以提升高校的英语教学成效。
ESP teaching is the inevitable trend of college English teaching reform, which emphasizes that students should have both English language ability and professional English ability. This paper briefly reviews the latest achievements of ESP teaching research at home and abroad, and analyzes the problems existing in ESP teaching in domestic colleges and universities from the aspects of course design, teachers preparation and textbooks materials. It also tries to put forward the countermeasures of college English ESP teaching reform from the perspective of professional ability training, so as to improve the effectiveness of college English teaching.
