南海红娘鱼属二新种

ON TWO NEW SPECIES OF TRIGLID FISHES OF THE GENUS LEPIDOTRIGA FROM THE SOUTH CHINA SEA

笔者在《南海鱼类志》(1962)中曾记述红娘鱼属鱼类四种,将翼红娘鱼、斑鳍红娘鱼及日本红娘鱼的喉胸部腹侧无鳞,印为“胸部腹侧有鳞”,而当时认为喉胸部有鳞的鳞胸红娘鱼却被印为“胸部腹侧无鳞”且印为“裸胸红娘鱼”(Lepidotrigla kanagashira)。现知模式产地为日本三重县的L.kanagashira,确系喉胸部腹侧无鳞。经研究,得知1962年所依喉胸部腹侧有鳞的标本实为二新种,现予描述。模式标本均存中国科学院动物研究所。

This paper presents two new species of Lepidotrigla(Triglidae)obtained from the South China Sea.Holotype and paratype specimens arc kept the Institute of Zoology,Academia Sinica.A key to the Chinese species of this genus is given in the Chinese text.Lepidotrigla lepidojugulala,n.sp(figs.1-2)B.7.D.IX,i-14(rarely 15);A.15(rarely 16);P.11(rarely 12)+iii;V.1-5;C.xiii-9-xii.Scales in L.1.60.Gill-rakers 0+8-9(outer row),2+7(inner row).Specimens examined 60,measured 24,standard body length 77-136.7 mm.This new fish closely resembles Lepidotrigla argyrosoma Fowler(1938)recorded irom west coast of Luzon in having scales on the throat and breast,the longest finger-like pectoral fin ray extending never beyond anus,and the second dorsal fin with 2 longitudinal rows of brownish spots;but differs from the latter in having more scales in lateral line(60:53-54)。
