Effect of Teach back mission mode on oral health efficacy and periodontal health index of adolescent orthodontic patients

目的探讨Teach back宣教模式对青少年正畸患儿口腔保健效能和牙周健康指数的影响。方法回顾性分析南通市口腔医院正畸科2020年12月至2021年12月收治的85例青少年正畸患儿的临床资料,根据宣教模式的不同将其分组。其中42例进行常规宣教为对照组,另43例以常规宣教和Teach back宣教模式进行宣教为观察组。比较宣教前后两组患儿的口腔保健效能和牙周健康指数评分、宣教后治疗依从性评分及患儿和家长满意度。结果宣教后观察组患儿的口腔保健效能评分均高于对照组,牙周健康指数评分均低于对照组,治疗依从性评分优于对照组(P<0.05);观察组患儿和家长满意度高于对照组(P<0.05)。结论Teach back宣教模式对青少年正畸患儿的口腔保健效能、牙周健康指数、治疗依从性及患儿和家长满意度均有显著的影响,临床应用价值较高。

Objective To investigate the effect of Teach back mission mode on oral health care efficiency and periodontal health index of adolescent orthodontic patients.Methods The clinical data of 85 adolescent orthodontic children admitted to Department of Orthodontics,Nantong Stomatological Hospital from December 2020 to December 2021 were retrospectively analyzed,and divided into different groups according to different mission modes.Among them,42 cases received routine mission as the control group,and the other 43 cases received routine mission and Teach back mission mode as the observation group.The oral health efficacy and periodontal health index scores of the two groups were compared before and after the mission,the treatment compliance scores and the satisfaction of the children and their parents were compared after the mission.Results After mission,the scores of oral health efficacy were higher than those in the control group,periodontal health index scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group,and the score of treatment compliance was better than that in the control group(P<0.05).The satisfaction of children and parents in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion The Teach back mission mode has a significant impact on the oral health efficacy,periodontal health index,treatment compliance and satisfaction of adolescent orthodontic children and their parents,and has a high clinical application value.
