Research and practice of substituting Canadian coking coal for Australian coking coal for cokemaking

对加拿大焦煤与澳大利亚焦煤进行煤质检测、小焦炉试验、焦炭质量检测,结果表明,其均为优质焦煤。配煤炼焦试验表明,加拿大焦煤对于澳大利亚焦煤具有较好的替代性。炼焦生产实践表明,配用加拿大焦煤生产的焦炭能够满足炼铁需求。

Through coal quality test,pilot oven test and coke quality test on Canadian coking coal and Australian coking coal,the results demonstrate that both are of high-quality coking coal. Coal blending and pilot oven tests show that Canadian coking coal is a good substitute for Australian coking coal. Cokemaking production shows that coke produced with Canadian coking coal can meet the demand for ironmaking.
