Application of Hall Technique in the Treatment of Early Childhood Caries

Hall技术是目前治疗乳牙龋齿的有效方法,无需局部麻醉、去除腐质、预备牙体,直接选择合适尺寸的金属预成冠,通过手指压力或患儿咬合力将其粘接到乳牙龋齿上,将致龋菌与口腔环境隔绝,以达到阻断乳牙龋齿发展的治疗效果。该研究对Hall技术的理论基础、适应证与禁忌证、临床操作方法、临床疗效评价、临床可接受度和不足作一综述。

As the effective ways to treat the early childhood caries,without local anesthesia,detritus removing,and the tooth body preparing,Hall technology chooseed the right size of the metal preformed crown,and bonded it to the caries of primary teeth by finger pressure or bite force of children,which cause caries bacteria isolated from the rest of the oral environment,to achieve the therapeutic effect of blocking early childhood caries development.The theoretical basis,indications and contraindications,clinical operation methods,clinical efficacy evaluation,clinical acceptability and shortcomings of Hall technology are reviewed in this paper.
