China is in a period of social transformation,and the crime situation is severe.Video detection came into being in this context.As a new investigative measure,video surveillance urgently needs to build a standardized working system.The construction of video investigation system can fully guide video investigation and improve the efficiency of investigation.The construction of video investigation system includes five steps:the collection of video image data,the screening of case related information,the extraction of selected information,the comprehensive analysis and judgment of selected information,and the application of research and judgment results.The application of video investigation system should be combined with traditional investigation measures to ensure the evidence effectiveness of video image materials and give full play to the preventive function of video investigation.
