Holistic View and Chen Diexian’s Systematic Design Thought

在中国特色社会主义新时代,学界普遍强调以文化来引领设计,夯实中国设计的文化根基。整体观作为中国人具有代表性的生活观,千百年来铺陈了中国人的精神底色,成了中国人的“文化基因”。以传统整体观来引领中国设计,重在系统处理设计与人、设计与物、设计与社会之间的结构性关系。陈蝶仙是民国时期具有代表性的实业家,同时他也是一位设计师。陈蝶仙的系统设计思想既以人的情感为导向,又围绕“物”系统地将关于“物”的设计、制造、营销、销售和使用作为一个生命周期来看待,更体现了对于人的鲜活生命的关怀和责无旁贷的社会责任感。在陈蝶仙的系统设计思想中,上述三个层面既相对独立,又呈现出一种紧密的结构性关系。

In the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics,the academic world generally emphasizes to guide design with culture.As a Chinese representative view of life,the Holistic View has existed as the"cultural gene"of the Chinese people for thousands of years.In the Holistic View,it is important to systematically find out the connection between design and people,design and"things",design and society.Chen Diexian was a representative industrialist in the Republic of China,and also a designer whose systematic design thought focused on human feelings,as well as the design,manufacturing,marketing,sales and use of"things",which together reflected his concern for people’s life and his social responsibility.
