The Influence of Chinese Lacquerware on 17^(th)-and 18^(th)-century French Interior Decoration

17世纪中后期,采用中国漆作进行室内装饰的新时尚流行于法国。漆作成为法式“中国风”的重要装饰元素,并在之后的一百多年间对法国的室内装饰艺术产生广泛、持续、深远的影响。法国工匠对中国漆作精心改造,努力使之与法国本土装饰艺术相融合。法国本土制漆业在18世纪初逐渐成熟,法国成为欧洲的制漆中心,从而推动了法国乃至整个欧洲的“中国风”室内装饰艺术的蓬勃发展。

By the middle and late 17^(th)century,the use of Chinese lacquer for interior decoration became increasingly popular in France.Lacquer had by then been turned into an important decorative element of French chinoiserie,and kept on exerting wide,continuous,and far-reaching influence on French interior decoration art for more than a century.French craftsmen diligently set about to transform Chinese lacquer,striving to blend it with their native decorative arts.By the early 18^(th)century,the French lacquer industry had already achieved a state of maturity,thus turning France into Europe's lacquer hub,and further promoting the vigorous development of the chinoiserie interior decoration art not only in France,but also throughout the European continent.
