Bovine infectious rhinotracheitis is a contagious bovine respiratory tract infection caused by bovine infectious rhinotracheitis virus infection.The clinical manifestations are respiratory symptoms,accompanied by inflammation of multiple organs,and cause abortion in pregnant cows.The disease can infect cattle of any age and any breed,and do the greatest harm to calves.With the continuous expansion of the scale of modern pastures and the increasing degree of intensification,the incidence of the disease is also increasing year by year,which has seriously hindered the healthy development of the dairy industry and the beef breeding industry.This paper expounds the research progress of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis in recent years from two aspects of diagnostic methods and preventive measures,to bring certain guiding significance to the diagnosis and prevention of infectious bovine rhinotracheitis.
