The river-crossing of Datuan~Huinan section in the second phase of Dailu Waterway Improvement Project in Shanghai is a steel tied-arch bridge.Combined with the construction environment,the main construction techniques of steel tied arch bridge are introduced in detail,and the key points and dificulties in the construction process are analyzed and summarized.In the construction of the bridge,the arch was constructed after the girder and the"floating crane process"was adopted.The corresponding measures were taken in the key processes which ensure the successful completion of the installation construction.
