In rail transit station projects,the four major categories of steel,commercial concrete,labour and construction machinery and tools account for a high proportion in civil cost,and their price fluctuations have a great impact on the civil construction costs of stations.So these four major categories should be taken as the main factors in cost control.The factors affecting the cost of rail transit projects are introduced,and the influence of price fuctuations on the civil cost of rail transit stations is explored by the ABC classification method.
