随着网络传播的发达.有关“印第安人是殷商后裔”的旧说在近些年通过大众传媒反复被推送到民众眼前。相关报道中认为在美洲印第安发现了“殷商甲骨文”,甚至出现了“印第安”实则是“殷地安”等不符合实际的言论。这些观点均可从文字学等学术角度予以否定。就当前已有证据,并不足以证实“印第安人是殷商后裔”。
