Towards Building a Long-Term Mechanism of Staying True to the Original Aspiration and Founding Mission:Principles and Systems

党的十九届四中全会明确要求构建不忘初心、牢记使命长效机制。这是党员干部保持本色与实践宗旨,巩固“不忘初心、牢记使命”主题教育成果以及把党的制度优势转化为管党治党实践效能的需要。不忘初心、牢记使命长效机制的构建要遵循系统全面、目标导向、立足实际、前瞻开放、传承创新等原则,形成由功能实现性机制、保障维护性机制和调适完善性机制三部分构成的机制体系。这一长效机制体系的构建将为不忘初心、牢记使命教育的长期推进提供制度化保障。

The Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th CPC Central Commitee clearly requires the building of a long-term mechanism of staying true to the original aspiration and founding mission,which is the need for the Party members and cadres to preserve the political character of Communists and fulill the founding priciples of the Party,consolidate the educational achievements of the Aspiration and Mission Education Campaign and transform the Party's institutional advantages into the practical effectiveness of Party building and governance.The building of the long-term mechanism of staying true to the original aspiration and founding mission should follow the principles of being systematic and comprehensive,goal-oriented,based on realities,forward-looking and open,and able to be better inherited and developed,and form a mechanism and system composed of three parts:function realization mechanism,guarantee and maintenance mechanism,and adjustment and perfection mechanism.The building of this long-term mechanism and system will provide an institutional guarantee for the long-term promotion of“staying true to the original aspiration and founding mission”education campaign.
