For urban planning, it is already broadly acknowledged that to deal with the issues of public health is one of its missions since the very beginning. But, for a long time amid the process of urbanization, the concern on public health was limited to the prevention of the pandemic of infectious diseases and the countermeasures were constrained to the construction and management of grey infrastructure such as water supply, drainage, and sewage.
