In combination with the engineering project of an extra-long tunnel in Guizhou,the project overview,hydrogeological conditions and karst development characteristics of the tunnel are introduced in detail,and the evaluation on the hydrogeological unit zone and water resource of the tunnel is carried out,so as to predict the water burst of the tunnel. The reason for water burst of the tunnel is analyzed in detail according to the advanced drilling and geological radar data.
