Tension is one of the key processes in box girder construction and its construction quality determines the construction quality of box girder.If the on-site construction management is absent and the construction operation is not standardized,it is very easy to cause many problems such as insufficient or excessive tension,excessive or too little elongation,broken wire or sliding wire of steel strand Therefore,it is very important to do a good job in the construction of box girder tension,quality control and standardized construction.Therefore,this paper discusses the key points of post stressed concrete continuous box girder tensioning construction by taking the box girder tensioning construction of the main bridge of a city expressway as an example,in order to provide reference for bridge construction colleagues.
