摘要
科学教育是科技发展和社会进步的基石。STEAM教育理论的引入源于机械论、还原论科学哲学范式下,对当前科学教育陷入学科间割裂化和碎片化状态的反思。近年来,一种超越还原论的复杂性科学及其哲学体系正逐步成熟,这种理论范式下的科学研究内容和方法已不限于自然科学领域,更包含了艺术和社会科学等领域。通过运用系统科学哲学理论范式考察格雷特·亚克门STEAM教育理论建构的科学基础与背后的哲学立场,很可能为STEAM教育理论研究者和实践者提供一个不同角度理解STEAM教育理论框架对培养学生思维层级的整体性目标和价值,并为其理论的发展提供一种新的研究进路;在我国科学教育实践中发挥其独特的系统方法论价值。
Science education is the cornerstone of technological development and social progress.The introduction of STEAM education theory originated from the reflection of the dilemma of modern science education that was into a state of separation and fragmentation between disciplines under the paradigm of scientific philosophy of Mechanics and Reductionism.In recent years,complexity science and philosophy of systems sciences,which transcend Reductionism,has been gradually maturing.This theoretical system has affected not only the natural sciences,but also the social sciences.On this basis and using the paradigm of systems science theory,we try to explore the basal construction and philosophical stand point behind Georgette Yakman’s STEAM education theory,which may provide a different perspective for the educational researchers and practitioner of STEAM Education Theory to understand the holistic aims and value in developing students’hierarchy thinking on the level of complex systems concept.Meanwhile,it not only provides a new research pathway for the development of STEAM theory,but also develops its unique methodological value in Chinese social practice.
