With the deep transformation of media integration,video news apps operated by local newspaper groups,such as Tianmu News,N Video,Yu Video have become the "speedboat" of newspaper competition in the video era.Based on field research and in-depth interviews,this article analyzes the innovation path of these apps and explores the general experience of local newspapers in operating video news apps.Focusing on how to grasp the strategic opportunity of the new video news platform,the author explores the mechanism reform and profit model of the newspaper industry while building the communication power.
