摘要
中国长期处于高速发展中,城市化进程使得景观设计也处于不断的变化中,全球景观的差异性、多样性正在减少。在发展中只知创新不知保留,就忘记了景观最初的样子,导致城市景观千篇一律,承载着城市特色的老街道在慢慢消失,都市中的人们很多向往20世纪80年代常州城的那个模样,但常常是“心向往之,却身不能至”。该文以常州历史文化街区为例,阐明了在当代景观设计中传统与现代相结合的重要性。
China has been in rapid development for a long time, and the process of urbanization makes changing landscape design. The diversity of global landscapes are decreasing. With innovation and no tradition preservation in the development, the appearance of the original landscape is forgotten, resulting in landscapes look alike. Old streets with urban characteristics are slowly disappearing. Many people in the city yearn for Changzhou in the 1980 s, but often“the heart yearns for it, but the body can’t reach it.”The paper presents the importance of tradition and modernity integration in today’s landscape design by taking the example of historical and cultural blocks in Changzhou, China.
