From Exhibition to Practice:The UABB and Urban Villages in Shenzhen

深圳城中村是深圳城市化进程中至关重要的一环,深港城市建筑双城双年展持续关注深圳城中村问题。文章分析2005—2019年间深双对城中村议题的持续探索经历的三个阶段,梳理城中村议题在深双的演进过程。从展览到实践,深双与深圳城中村的互动关系体现了深双自身独特的价值,它也为深圳和城中村带来了变化。

Urban village is a key link in the urbanization process of Shenzhen.The Bi-city Biennale of UrbanismArchitecture continues to focus on the subject of urban villages.This paper explores the three-stage evolution process of the continuous attention from 2005 to 2019.From exhibition to practice,the interaction between the UABB and urban villages of Shenzhen reflects the unique value of the UABB,producing changes to Shenzhen including urban villages as well.
