After epidemiological investigation and clinical examination of an acute febrile infection of donkey,isolation,culture and biochemical tests confirmed Streptococcus pneumoniae infection.Due to the biological characteristics of the donkey’s gut microbiota,treatment with Gram-positive bacteria antibiotics can cause serious complications,the treatment of Lianhua Qingwen prescription was selected by comparing the clinical manifestation and blood routine test indexes before and after treatment,and the TCM dialectics and pharmacological analysis of Lianhua Qingwen prescription,the clinical effect of Lianhua Qingwen decoction on donkey Streptococcus pneumoniae infection was obvious,and it was worth using for reference and popularization.
