Effects of Different Calcium Tablets on Serum Calcium and Phosphorus in Dogs

充足和均衡的钙和磷供应对犬的骨骼健康很重要,无论是在生长期,还是成年期。随机选取10只犬,分别补饲市面上2款不同钙片(A、B),探讨补饲钙片2 h前后血清钙、磷的变化。结果表明,A钙片在补饲前后犬血钙浓度升高幅度不大,差异不显著(P>0.05),B钙片在补饲前后犬血钙浓度有所升高,差异显著(P<0.05)。A、B钙片饲喂前后,血磷均相应升高,差异显著(P<0.05),但血钙、血磷仍在正常参考范围内。

An adequate and balanced supply of calcium and phosphorus is important for bone health in dogs,both during growth and adulthood.A lot of research results focusing on the effects of insufficient or excessive calcium supply have been reported at home and abroad,and the important role of phosphorus in damaging bone development has also been discussed,but there are few studies on the absorption of calcium and the relative changes of phosphorus after calcium supplementation.In this experiment,10dogs were randomly selected and fed with two different calcium tablets(A and b)on the market to explore the changes of serum calcium and phosphorus before and after feeding calcium tablets for 2 hours.The results showed that the increase of blood calcium concentration of dogs before and after supplementation with calcium tablet a was not significant(P> 0.05),while the increase of blood calcium concentration of dogs before and after supplementation with calcium tablet B was significant(P<0.05).A.Before and after feeding B calcium tablets,blood phosphorus increased correspondingly(P<0.05),but blood calcium and blood phosphorus were still within the normal reference range.
