微信点赞的评价意义和评价行为探究

A Study on the Appraisal Meaning and Practice of We Chat Liking

微信点赞是新媒体时代重要的交际方式之一。与此同时,微信点赞也具有丰富的多模态符号资源,具备多模态话语的语言学特征。本文以微信点赞为研究对象,从评价系统出发对微信点赞的评价意义和评价行为特征进行考察。研究发现:1)微信点赞的评价意义在评价系统的子系统之间游移,具有多重含义;2)点赞简化了级差实现的途径和手段,使评价越来越两极化;3)点赞的评价空间受制于微信的技术特点和设置;4)点赞作为评价行为对语言的评价意义和交际实践具有一定的冲击。以上发现有助于识别评价系统在新媒体语篇中的适用性和局限性,为新媒体评价研究带来新的启示。

As one of the most important and influential ways of communication in the era of new media, We Chat Liking serves as a combination of multimodal resources and demonstrates linguistic features of a typical multimodal discourse. Referring to the Appraisal System, this study explored the Appraisal meaning and practice of We Chat Liking. The findings are as follows: 1) Transferring from one sub-system to another, We Chat Liking demonstrated multiple meanings;2) The methods and mechanisms of graduation were simplified, leading to the polarization of meanings;3) The technological setup afforded and constrained the appraisal space of We Chat Liking;4) As a kind of appraising practice, We Chat Liking exerted complicated influences on the Appraisal meaning of language and practices of communication. The findings of this study help to identify the applicability and limitation of the Appraisal System and provide new understandings of the theory in new media context.
