后疫情时代VUCA世界的新学习模式

New Learning Models for a Post-COVID,VUCA World

随着世界各国正努力走出新冠疫情阴霾,全球的不稳定性、不确定性、复杂性和模糊性进一步凸显。这种不稳定性和变化加速演进,人们需要采取新的、大胆的措施,以应对新冠疫情、气候变化、技术革新在内的复杂多样的挑战。尤其是高校,需要从根本上重新思考学习模式,以帮助学生更好应对未来。高校应培养学生能够全面、创造性思考和解决问题,具备跨学科视角和协作能力,并提出原创性新观点和新见解。新加坡国立大学学习模式的重大改革已经开始。它以突出终身教育、跨学科学习为核心,以培养技能和思维能力为目标,使学生成为积极的终身学习者,能够自我规划学习路径,从多领域汲取知识和技能,在复杂环境和挑战中创造性运用知识和技能来思考和解决问题。

As nations and communities plan their emergence from the COVID pandemic, there is clear recognition that the level of VUCA(Volatility, Uncertainty, Complexity and Ambiguity) has been raised around the world. This accelerated landscape of uncertainty and change requires new and bold responses, if we are to successfully tackle complex and diverse challenges beyond the pandemic, such as climate change and technological disruption. Higher education institutions, in particular, need to consider a fundamental re-think of their learning models, if we are to help our students be more prepared and future-ready. Students must be nurtured to become creative and holistic thinkers and problem solvers, able to draw on the originality and fresh insights afforded by interdisciplinary perspectives and collaborative environments. The National University of Singapore has embarked on a major transformation of its learning models, centred on lifelong learning, and a deeply integrated interdisciplinary focus. We aim to develop the skillsets and thinking skills to enable our students to become active lifelong learners, able to chart out unique learning pathways, and synthesise knowledge and skills from diverse domains of knowledge for creative and effective application in complex environments and challenges.
