Children’s Undertakings Embark on a New Journey in the New Era——The Status Quo,Problems and Prospects of Chinese Children’s Development in 2021

2021年是“十四五”规划开局之年,党和政府高度重视、系统谋划,把儿童事业纳入经济社会发展整体规划,密集出台儿童健康、教育、福利、家庭、环境和法律保护等领域的法律法规政策,开启了儿童事业发展新征程。展望未来,要坚持落实儿童优先原则,深化基础教育综合改革,完善儿童福利制度,营造和谐友好的家庭和社会环境,夯实儿童法律保护基础,推动儿童事业高质量发展。

2021 was the first year for the implementation of The Outline of the 14th Five-Year Plan(2021-2025)for National Economic and Social Development and Vision 2035 of the People’s Republic of China.The Communist Party of China and the central government have attached great importance to and made a systematic plan for the development of children’s undertakings,incorporated children’s undertakings into the overall plan for economic and social development,and introduced laws,regulations and policies in many fields,including children’s health,education,welfare,environment and legal protection,thus opening a new chapter for the development of children’s undertakings.Looking into the future,we must adhere to the principle of giving top priority to children,deepen the comprehensive reform of education,improve the child welfare system,create a harmonious and friendly environment at home and in society,consolidate the legal basis for child protection,and promote the high-quality development of children’s undertakings.
