《习近平谈治国理政》第三卷是全面系统反映习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想的权威著作,其英译更是国际社会了解中国共产党理论创新成果最新典型范本。基于纽马克文本功能理论,聚焦其中各类典故实例,探究建构外宣文献用典英译策略,以期为外宣翻译工作者和外语学习者提供参考,在国际舞台上体现中华民族优良传统文化风韵。

As an authoritative work, Xi Jinping: The Governance of China Volume Ⅲ comprehensively and systematically reflects Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era. Moreover, its English version provides the latest model for the international community to understand the theoretical innovation achievements of the CPC. Based on Peter Newmark’s Text Function Theory, this paper focuses on allusion translation with case studies in the work, so as to shed light on valuable experience in foreign-oriented publicity, from which translators and foreign language learners may benefit, when they spread traditional Chinese culture on the international stage.
