Guizhou Province Integrating into the “New Western Land-sea Corridor”: Opening-up Road and Economic Strategy

西部陆海新通道是打通我国西部与“一带一路”的连接线,成为西部各省份联动开放发展的主轴线,推动我国西部区域协调发展与高水平开放。共建西部陆海新通道为贵州克服对外贸易区位劣势、打造高水平开放发展格局带来了新的机遇,也是进一步贯彻落实中央赋予贵州西部大开发综合改革示范区、内陆开放型经济新高地等战略定位的重要抓手。基于西部陆海新通道高质量建设发展契机,提升贵州融入西部陆海新通道的国际化、数字化与链条化发展路径,有助于贵州发挥绿色生态与产业、空间后发优势“开新局、闯新路、抢先机、出新绩”。

China has released an overall plan about the country’s “new western land-sea corridor”to deepen the sea-land two-way opening-up and the development of western China,which covers from 2019 to 2025 with an outlook extended to 2035. Located in the center of the Southwestern China, Guizhou Province covers all the three branches of the main corridor.This give Guizhou a new strategic position to create a high-level opening-up ecomomic pattern. This paper analysis Guizhou’s corridor economy strategy.It shows that Guizhou will improve its opening-up ecomomic pattern by outward economic cooperation, digital economy and value chain business.
