In order to ensure the safety and stability of the ship during navigation,based on a 12000 t buoyant salvage/semi-submersible engineering ship,the key points of the design of the ballast system and ventilation system are analyzed,and the key points of salvage/semi-submersible operation are described.The research results can provide some references for the design of ballast system and ventilation system of salvage/semi-submersible engineering ships.
