In order to ensure the safe and controllable operating environment of offshore drilling platforms and improve the safety of operators,the installation requirements and applications of echo sounders on offshore drilling platforms are introduced in combination with relevant specifications.The research results can provide some references for the installation and application of the echo sounder.
