中国·宁波Investigate the Antianxiety,Antioxidant,Neuro-Protecting and Memory-Improving Capabilities of Nutrients using Zebrafish Models ZHAO Bang-cheng1,#,JIA Xiu-zhen2,#,ZHANG Ying-qian1,#,ZHANG Wei3,XU Yu-han3,XIE Qiao-ling3,LI Hong-wei3,ZHONG Qi-xing1,*,ZHONG Zhi-hui1,*1.Laboratory of Nonhuman Primate Disease Modeling Research,State Key Laboratory of Biotherapy,West China Hospital,Sichuan University,Chengdu,610041,China 2.Inner Mongolia Dairy Technology Research Institute Co.Ltd.,Hohhot,010110,China 3.Xiamen University,Xiamen,361005,China【ABSTRACT】Objective:Anxiety disorders impair individual’s daily life,lead to high cost of healthcare worldwide and they might eventually trigger neuron damage in human central nervous system,result in permanent loss of neurons.In this study,we aimed to utilize the zebrafish model,which effectively mimics the human central nerve system,to screen and investigate nutrients for their antianxiety,antioxidant,neuroprotection and memory-improving effects.This study would provide new hope for the treatment of the anxiety disorders and related conditions.Methods:In this study,we used mCPP,menadione,mycophenolate morph ethyl ester and aluminum chloride respectively,to build the zebrafish models.After model establishment,the nutrients were tested along with corresponding positive drugs.Zebrafish behavioral tests,cortisol production measurement,fluorescence labelling and acetylcholinesterase determination were conducted to evaluate the abilities of nutrients.Results:We identified several combinations of nutrients at specific concentrations(eg.Walnut peptides and theanine at 14.2+33.3μg·mL-1)showed similar or stronger capabilities than the positive drugs in antianxiety,antioxidant,neuroprotection and memory-improving.Conclusion:In this study,we utilized the zebrafish model to screen and investigate several nutrients and their combinations for their antianxiety.
