摘要
外宣翻译是中国构建国际话语权、提升国际形象的重要途径,但外宣文本中的军语泛化易引起外国受众的误解。该文以目的论为理论基础,以政府白皮书为文本素材,重点分析外宣翻译中非专业类军语的翻译策略,分析发现,译者要充分考虑受众的认知习惯和理解能力,根据不同的文本主题及语境,采用不同的翻译方法,以实现译文的交际目的,达到良好的传播效果。
Publicity translation is a crucial means in building up Chinese capacity in international communication,amplifying Chinese voices on the international stage. However, the generalization of military terms in publicity translation usually leads to misunderstanding. Based on skopos theory and taking government white papers as materials for analysis, this paper focuses on the translation strategies of nonprofessional military terms, and concludes that translators should fully consider the cognitive habits and comprehension of foreign readers, and adopt different translation methods according to text themes and contexts so as to achieve external publicity purposes and effects.
