Practice and Reflection on the Application of BOPPPS Module in Medicinal Botany

BOPPPS是一种以教学目标为导向,以学生为中心的教学模式。在“花”一章的一个课时中融入BOPPPS教学模组进行教学设计,为BOPPPS教学模组与药用植物学课程的教学融合提供了范例。通过BOPPPS 6个教学环节的实施,学生学习的目的和重点更加明确,参与式教学环节发挥了学生学习主观能动性,调动了学生学习积极性,提高了学生的团体协作能力,改善了教学效果。

BOPPPS is a teaching model which is teaching goal-oriented and student-centered. This article explores the application of the BOPPPS teaching module in the teaching of Medicinal Botany. A lesson of Flower chapter is taken as an example, which is designed according to that module. Through the implementation of the six teaching steps of BOPPPS, the learning objectives and key point are more clear. The participatory teaching stimulates students’ subjective initiative and enthusiasm in learning, enhances students’ group collaboration capabilities, and improves the teaching effects.
