Historical Materialism and the CPC’s Hundred Years of Struggle

唯物史观既是马克思主义哲学的重要内容,又是马克思主义理论的重要基石,还是马克思主义引导人们认识社会、改造社会、推动社会进步的科学方法。站在新时代的历史起点上,总结中国共产党百年来坚持唯物史观指导伟大事业的经验有三条:一是把唯物史观庄严地写在党旗上;二是学好用好唯物史观是党取得伟大事业胜利的一条根本经验;三是坚持和发展唯物史观,以历史主动性不断开创未来。

Historical materialism is not only an important content of Marxist philosophy,but also a significant cornerstone of Marxist theory,and it is also a scientific method through which to guide people to understand society,transform society,and promote social progress. In summarizing the lessons from which the CPC adhered to putting historical materialism into practice at the opening of the New Era,we can draw three conclusions. First,we must solemnly highlight the materialist concept of history on the Communist Party of China’s central platform. Second,a fundamental lesson for the Party to achieve the great victory is to study historical materialism well and apply it into practice well. The third is to adhere to and develop historical materialism,and continue to create the future with historical initialtives.
