摘要
作为在线办公的重要工作载体,企业社交工作平台促进了员工在线互动交流,扩大了员工之间的合作网络边界,并对员工的工作意义产生影响。本文基于社会网络理论与方法 ,实证研究了企业社交工作平台应用对员工在线工作意义的影响机理,并从员工自我中心网络的视角探究了线上咨询网络密度和线上情感网络密度的双重中介效应。研究发现,企业社交工作平台应用积极影响员工感知到的在线工作意义,线上咨询网络密度而非线上情感网络密度在企业社交工作平台应用和在线工作意义之间起中介作用。研究结论对组织如何有效利用企业社交工作平台提高员工的在线工作意义提供了新的启发。
As working online becomes more popular, daily face-to-face contact between employees has been partially replaced by virtual interactions on corporate social media platforms. The use of corporate social media platform may interrupt the socio-psychological process of work meaning construction of online workers, which escaped attention from extant research. Drawing on social network theory and methods, this study empirically investigated how the use of corporate social media platform impacts on the perceived work meaning of online workers. By using 310 survey data, this study found that the use of corporate social media platforms has a positive relationship with the perceived work meaning of online workers, and online advice network, rather than online emotional network, plays a mediating role between the relationship. This conclusions provide new insights on how online workers using corporate social media platform construct their work meaning. The managerial implications were discussed.
