The C919,China's first homegrown large jetliner,has recently obtained a key commercial flight certificate.The Commercial Aircraft Corp.of China,the C919's developer,received the aircraft's type certification,the approval of the design of the aircraft and all component parts,from the Civil Aviation Administration of China on September 29,which is a milestone on its journey to market operation.The first such aircraft is scheduled to be delivered by the end of this year。
