Mr. Ye Zhenpeng and the Study of Public Finance History

叶振鹏先生作为财政学大家,同时也是著名的财政史专家。在财政史研究中,叶振鹏先生始终坚持以马克思辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义为指导,十分重视运用现代财政学的理论来分析,强调财政史研究的目的不是简单地复原历史面貌,而是探索财政历史发展的规律,为现实服务,为财政改革提供借鉴。在此基础上,叶振鹏先生对财政史的研究方法、路径和模式作出了重大开拓和创新。叶振鹏先生还参与创建和发展了中国财政学会财政史研究专业委员会,为推动财政史研究作出了重大贡献。叶振鹏先生在财政史研究上的优良学风和为人处世方面的宽厚谦和,都是我们学习的楷模。

Mr. Ye Zhenpeng, as a guru in public finance, were also distinguished for his research in the history of public finance. In his study of public finance history, Mr. Ye Zhenpeng always stick to the guidance of Marxist dialectical materialism and historical materialism, he has also attached great importance to the use of modern fiscal theory to analyze, and emphasized that the aim of the study of public finance history is not to simply restore history, but to explore the rules of the public finance history development, to serve for the reality, and to provide reference for the fiscal reform. On this basis, Mr. Ye Zhenpeng made significant development and innovation for the research method, approach and model of the study of public finance history. Mr. Ye Zhenpeng has also established and developed the public finance history research committee in the China’s institute of public finance, made enormous contribution for the development of the public finance history research. Mr. Ye Zhenpeng are our role model in terms of his excellent discipline in the study of public finance history and his generous and modest disposition when gets along with people.
