摘要
目的探讨媒体形象内化对青年女性身体感知的影响及其中间机制,即媒体形象内化、自我客体化、自我控制与求瘦倾向之间的关系。方法2021年7月采用关于外表的社会文化态度量表(SATAQ-3)、自我客体化量表(SOQ)、状态自我控制量表(SSCCS)和求瘦倾向量表(EDI-1)对394名女性进行问卷调查。结果(1)相关分析显示,媒体形象内化与自我客体化、求瘦倾向呈正相关(r=0.20,0.44;P均<0.01),与状态自我控制呈负相关(r=-0.27,P<0.01);状态自我控制与自我客体化、求瘦倾向呈显著负相关(r=-0.14,P<0.01;r=-0.26;P<0.01);自我客体化与求瘦倾向呈正相关(r=0.19,P<0.01);(2)结构方程模型表明,媒体形象内化对求瘦倾向有直接预测作用,还能通过三种间接效应对求瘦倾向产生影响,即自我控制和自我客体化的单独中介作用以及两者的链式中介作用。结论女性的求瘦倾向会受到媒体形象内化的直接影响,也会受到自我控制、自我客体化链式中介的间接影响。
Objective To explore the influence of media image internalization on young women's body perception and the relationship between media image internalization,self-objectification,self-control,and thinness.Methods A total of 394 women responded to social and cultural attitude scale(SATAQ-3),selfobjectification scale(SOQ),state self-control scale(SSCCS)and thinness-seeking tendency scale(EDI-1),the Sociocultural attitudes toward appearance questionnaire-3,self-objectification scale,state self-control scale,and thinness-seeking tendency scale(EDI-1)in July 2021.Results(1)Correlation analysis showed that media image internalization was positively correlated with self-objectification and leanness-seeking tendency(r=0.20,0.44;P<0.01)and negatively correlated with state self-control(r=-0.27,P<0.01).There was a significant negative correlation between state self-control and self-objectification(r=-0.14,P<0.01;r=-0.26,P<0.01).There was a significant positive correlation between the tendency of thinness media image internalization and selfobjectification(r=0.19,P<0.01).(2)The structural equation model showed that media image can directly predict the tendency of thinness propensity.Further,it influenced the inclination to thinness through three indirect effects:self-control and self-objectification and their chain-like mediation.Conclusion Women's tendency to seek thinness is directly influenced by media image internalization and indirectly influenced by self-control and self-objectifying chain mediation.
