欧美流行音乐应用于大学英语教学的路径探究

随着信息技术和社交媒介的迅猛发展,欧美流行音乐广泛地渗透到大学校园。作为一种文化载体,其呈现出超出音乐性的综合文化价值。欧美流行音乐应用于大学英语教学,不仅是一种新的教学工具和教学方式,也可以是一种新的课程体系,其对于大学英语教育的促进可以从技术能力路径、文化素养路径、课程建设路径三级推进,对应提升学生的显性英语能力、隐性人文素养,构建综合课标体系。相关课程教学中需要提升学生的综合技能,同时也应该引导价值判断,促进思想道德修养。

With the rapid development of information technology and social media,European and American pop music has widely penetrated into college campuses.As a cultural carrier,it presents comprehensive cultural value beyond musicality.Thus the application of it to college English teaching can be seen as a new curriculum system more than just a teaching tool or method,in which college English teaching can be enhanced from three levels:technical ability,cultural literacy,and curriculum construction while students’explicit English ability and implicit humanistic literacy can also be improved.In the teaching of relevant courses,it is necessary to improve students’comprehensive English skills,and at the same time,teach students to think critically.
