数字时代交流的“不可交流”困境与他者伦理的要素探索

The Dilemma of “Non-communicability” and Exploration of Elements Regarding the Ethics of the Other in Communication in the Digital Age

数字技术的发展造就了一种“交流神话”,这种进步主义的观点认为,技术将不断拉近人与人的距离,实现更流畅的人机交互,使他者在场而具有可接近性。然而在真实的交流中,误解、不确定性和模糊性从未消失。由于交流中永远存在他者,因此不可交流性是交流中固有的、技术工具所无法克服的特征。既有社会结构中的不平等因素在数字时代的延续,虚拟交流中责任感的缺乏,以及承受孤独、沉默和无聊能力的降低,使不可交流在当代社会中成为一个问题。面对数字时代不可交流的困境,我们亟须一种关于交流的他者伦理,这种伦理将他者置于基础性地位并将自我视为与他者关系中的衍生品。他者伦理强调了交流的嵌入性,并使交流中倾听的重要性胜过言说。

The development of digital technology has created a“communication myth”.This progressivist view holds that technology will continue to bring people closer together,enabling smoother human-machine interaction and making the Other present and accessible.Yet in real communication,misunderstanding,uncertainty and ambiguity never disappear.It is indicated in this study that because the Other is always present in communication,non-communicability is an inherent feature of communication that cannot be overcome by technological tools.And it is a problem in contemporary society due to the continuation of inequalities in established social structures in the digital age,the lack of responsibility in virtual communication,and the reduced ability to withstand loneliness,silence,and boredom.In face of the dilemma of non-communicability in the digital age,we urgently need the ethics of otherness on communication that places the Other in a prior position and views the self as a derivative of the relationship with the Other.The Other ethics emphasizes the embedded communication and makes listening more important than speaking in communication.
