The practical nature of basic mechanical courses is strong,which not only requires students to master rich theoretical knowledge,but also more importantly to cultivate students'practical ability.Applying OBE concept to construct the second class of mechanical basic courses can build a professional teaching practice and training platform,stimulate students'interest in practical learning,and help train students'practical ability,innovative thinking ability and good professional comprehensive ability.This paper analyzes the characteristics,reform direction and optimization measures of the second classroom teaching of mechanical foundation under the background of OBE concept.
