摘要
随着科学技术的迅速发展,交叉学科研究的兴起,地球物理领域科技文献的翻译需求日益增加。然而,相比于普通英语材料,地球物理领域科技文献因其特有的文本特征而存在翻译难点。目的论作为功能派的核心理论,对科技文献的翻译具有重要的指导意义。因此,该文结合目的论,通过具体实例,分析、探讨相应的地球物理领域科技文献的翻译策略,以期为地球物理领域科技文献的翻译工作提供参考和借鉴。
With the rapid development of science and technology and the rise of interdisciplinary research,the demand for translation of scientific and technological literature in the field of geophysics is increasing.However,compared with other English materials,scientific and technological documents in the field of geophysics are difficult to translate.Skopos theory,as the core theory of functionalism,is of great guiding significance to the translation of scientific and technological documents.Therefore,combined with Skopos theory,we analyze and discuss the corresponding translation strategies of scientific and technological documents in the field of geophysics through specific examples and hope to provide reference for the translation of scientific and technological documents in the field of geophysics.
