高校风险沟通网页的多模态话语分析--以新加坡国立大学和新加坡南洋理工大学为例

Multimodal Discourse Analysis of University Risk Communication Website--Taking National University of Singapore and Nanyang Technological University as Examples

新加坡南洋理工大学和新加坡国立大学在新冠疫情期间开设专题网页来进行风险沟通,其专题网页在网页布局、文字与图像结合、动静态结合等方面具有一定的可借鉴性,有益于优化风险沟通的语言。研究基于视觉语法理论对两所大学的新冠疫情风险沟通网页进行多模态话语分析,得出其在风险沟通时运用图片模态凸显重要信息,重视网页布局和信息分类,运用文字、图片、视频等多种模态进行风险沟通等特征,从语言层面提高风险沟通的有效性,为其他高校应对突发性卫生公共事件时的风险沟通提供一定的参考。

Nanyang Technological University of Singapore and National University of Singapore set up special web pages on risk communication during the COVID-19 pandemic.The web pages have a certain degree of reference in web page layout,text and image combination,dynamic and static combination,which is beneficial to optimizing the language of risk communication.Based on the theory of visual grammar,the research conducted multi-modal discourse analysis on the COVID-19 pandemic risk communication web pages of two universities.This research concluded that they both used picture modalities to highlight important information during risk communication,paid attention to web page layout and information classification,and used the combination of text,pictures,and videos.These features can improve the effectiveness of risk communication from the language level,and provide a certain reference for other universities'risk communication web pages language when responding to public health emergencies.
