Red culture bears the painstaking efforts of our revolutionary ancestors,is the witness of the arduous struggle of the Chinese nation,and is inseparable from the Chinese revolution and the red regime.Red culture has a strong educational function and value.Combining it with traditional culture is an inevitable requirement for the development of culture and education in the new era,which speeds up the pace of spiritual civilization construction in China.Therefore,we should clarify the inheritance relationship between red culture and traditional culture,and innovate it in combination with the needs of social development in the new era,so as to reflect the vitality of red culture.This paper introduces the connotation and characteristics of red culture,analyzes the historical inheritance of red culture to traditional culture,and explores the path to promote the development and innovation of red culture based on traditional culture,so as to provide reference for practical work.
