摘要
该文运用自建语料库对比高低分组两篇作文研究中国独立学院英语专业学生作文中语块的使用特征。结果表明:(1)高分组使用语块频率较高。(2)高分组使用语块类别时因结构丰富的句子和类似本土英语的句子逻辑显示出较熟练的句型框架。(3)高分组在第二篇作文中比低分组使用较少的聚合词和短语限制语。(4)二者在使用短语限制语时有相似性。该研究结果对二语语块习得和教学具有启示意义。
This paper uses the self-built corpus to investigate the use of lexical chunks in English majors?writings of Chinese Independent College by comparing two compositions of the high-level group and the low-level group.The study shows the following results:(1)high-level group generally has a higher frequency of using lexical chunk.(2)In terms of using lexical chunk categories,high-level group shows a better proficiency of sentence-builder noticeably,which is revealed by their better-structured sentences,rich diversity of sentence-builder and more native-like sentence logic.(3)the high-level group employs less poly-words and phrasal constraint than the low-level group in the second writing.(4)both groups show similarity in using phrasal constraint.The research results offer some implications to Second Language Acquisition and teaching.
