卢卡奇“总体性辩证法”的构思,既包含着对马克思超越黑格尔哲学的逻辑呼应,又体现了对“经济决定论”“修正主义”思潮进行批判的现实需求。“总体性辩证法”的关键问题是如何在20世纪初的欧洲环境中论证马克思主义革命思想的有效性。由于对历史唯物主义的工具性使用,“总体性辩证法”最终没有跳脱“逻辑统摄历史”的意识形态解读框架。这一框架在批判“经济决定论”的同时,没有注意到“经济决定论”本身所针对的时代问题,不可避免地带有了“意识形态决定论”的嫌疑,为后来整个西方马克思主义社会批判理论对马克思主义政治经济学的“悬置”做了铺垫。

Lukacs’ conception of “totality dialectics” not only logically echoes Marx’s transcendence of Hegelianism,but also criticizes “economic determinism” and “revisionism”.The key issue of “totality dialectics” is how to demonstrate the effectiveness of Marxism revolutionary thought in the European environment at the beginning of the 20th century.Due to the instrumentally using of Historical Materialism, “totality dialectics” does not get away from the ideological interpretation framework of “logic dominates history”.While criticizing the “economic determinism”,this framework does not pay attention to the issue of the time that the “economic determinism” itself aims at,which inevitably lets to the suspicion of “ideological determinism”.Finally this framework paves the way for the “suspension” of Marxist political economics by the whole social critical theory of Western Marxism.
