千百年的楚地文化,将楚的文化价值、审美价值、经济价值通过纹样呈现出来,沉淀下来的智慧和独特的艺术精神得以彰显。虎题材装饰是中华传统装饰题材中重要的组成部分,通过对楚地出土的器物进行研究,发现具有虎题材装饰的器物占有较大比例。研究楚地虎题材的起源、寓意、形式特征、装饰特点,并从中探索虎题材对现代设计的应用和启示,对研究楚文化具有现实意义,为现代设计的发展提供新的设计思路。
