举家迁移农民工时间配置的逻辑、困境与突围——基于结构化理论的分析框架

The Logic,Dilemma and Breakout of the Time Allocation of Rural Family-migrant Workers: An Analysis Framework Based on Structuration Theory

家庭时间配置对举家迁移农民工自身发展、城市融入起着至关重要的作用。本文透过家庭研究视角,利用结构化理论的分析框架,从“结构—行动”互构层面探索农民工时间配置的决策逻辑。基于典型案例的研究发现,举家迁移农民工家庭时间配置的优化因为家庭结构的制约而受到外部阻力,又因为夫妻间的分配与磨合而产生内部矛盾。进一步选取结构、经济和文化三重角度归纳出了困境产生的深层次原因,包括“回不去”的农村、随迁子女人力资本投资和城市的学习效应,从政策完善和家庭应对两个方面挖掘出了可能的突围路径,并提出相应的政策建议。

Family time allocation plays a crucial role in migrant workers’ development and urban integration.Based on the perspective of family, this article explores the decision logic of migrant workers’ time allocation by constructing the “Structure-Action” under the framework of structuration theory.Research on typical cases shows that: the optimization of migrant workers’ time allocation is not only affected by external resistance due to the restriction of family structure but also internal contradictions due to the labor and cooperation between husbands and wives.Furthermore, we summarize the deep reasons of the dilemma in three perspectives of structure, economic and cultural, including “non-returned” countryside, children’s human capital investment and learning effects in urban.Two possible breakout paths of policy improvement and family response as well as relevant policy recommendations are proposed.
