高频地波雷达天线方向图校准方法研究

摘要 高频地波雷达是一种大范围获取海流场的有效手段,已经获得大量应用。为了保障观测数据质量,需要重视设备运行维护环节,其中就包括天线方向图校准。本文首先分析了单频信标天线方向图校准方法相比其他几种校准方法的优点;然后完善了单频信标校准系统,设计了信号频率可调的单频信标,研究并实现了SeaSonde雷达的方向图校准方法;接下来,将新校准系统用于南姜站SeaSonde雷达的天线方向图测量,实测方向图与CODAR应答器测量结果基本一致,通过ADCP与雷达径向流场的比测试验进一步证明校准方法有效;最后总结了使用单频信标校准方法的注意事项。 High frequency surface wave radar is an effective means to obtain the sea surface flow field in a wide range,and has been widely used.In order to ensure the quality of observation data,we need to pay attention to the operation and maintenance of radar,including antenna pattern calibration.Firstly,the advantages of single frequency beacon antenna pattern calibration method compared with other calibration methods are analyzed.Then,the existing single frequency beacon calibration system is improved,the new single frequency beacon with adjustable signal frequency is implemented,the antenna pattern calibration method for SeaSonde radar is analyzed and implemented.The new calibration system is used to calibrate the pattern of seasonde′s antenna in Nanjiang station,and the results are basically consistent with CODAR transponder,the calibration method and calibration device is further verified by a comparison of radar measured radial current velocity with acoustic doppler current profiler(ADCP)data.Finally,the precautions for using single frequency beacon calibration method are summarized.
