运用名词化培养中学生英语写作的能力

摘要 名词化是构建概念语法隐喻的有力方式,在英语写作中具有重要地位,但目前我国中学生使用名词化进行写作的能力较低,文章质量不高。为指导学生合理运用名词化提高英语写作水平,本文阐释了名词化的内涵及相关理论背景,并举例分析名词化在英文写作中的四大语篇功能,最后提出运用名词化提高中学生英语写作能力的途径。通过分析,可以发现名词化能使语篇简洁凝练、结构紧凑、逻辑严谨、精准客观,因此教师在写作教学中应该注重培养学生恰当使用名词化的能力,进而促进学生英语写作水平的提升。 Nominalization is a powerful way to construct ideational grammatical metaphor and plays an important role in English writing.However,middle school students lack the ability to use nominalization in writing,resulting in low quality of articles.In order to guide students to use nominalization reasonably to improve their English writing ability,this paper explains the connotation of nominalization and its related theoretical background,analyzes the four textual functions of nominalization in English writing through examples,and finally puts forward the ways to improve students'writing ability.Through analysis,it can be found that nominalization can make discourse concise,compact,logical,precise and objective.Therefore,teachers should pay attention to cultivating students'ability to use nominalization properly in writing teaching,so as to promote students'English writing level.
