独立学院英语专业毕业生就业调查及其人才培养模式的优化研究——以广州大学华软软件学院为例

A Survey on the Employment of English Majors in Independent Colleges and the Optimization of Their Training Mode——Taking South China Institute of Software Engineering,Guangzhou University as an Example

随着全球化进程的加快,国际交流频繁,英语学习者数量也不断增加,市场上英语人才供大于求。作为独立学院理工科院校的英语专业学生,对其就业前景感到迷茫和焦虑。研究小组人员根据此现象对该校英语专业毕业生进行问卷调查和访谈,并对收集的数据进行统计与分析,研究结果显示:该校英语专业毕业生就业形势严峻,大部分毕业生无法将知识有效地运用到工作实践中,且该校人才培养存在一定漏洞,有待优化。最后小组人员提出了针对性的建议,希望能为英语专业复合型人才的培养提供参考,使学院提高对英语专业的重视程度,提供更好的师资,在改变传统的教学方式的同时提供优质的就业指导。

With the acceleration of globalization,international exchanges are frequent,and the number of English learners is increasing.As the members of the independent college of science and engineering English major graduates,the students feel confused and anxious about their employment prospects.According to this phenomenon,the group members conducted questionnaires and interviews with English major graduates,and analyzed the collected data.The results show that the employment situation of English major graduates in our school is grim.Most graduates can not effectively apply knowledge to work practice,and there are some loopholes in talent training,which needs to be optimized.Finally,the group members put forward targeted suggestions,hoping to provide a reference for the training of English majors,so that the college can pay more attention to English majors and provide better teachers,changing the traditional teaching methods and provide quality employment guidance at the same time.
